Adorable little cafe with some really great food! Seating can be a little close, after all, it is Oceanside. But it’s the perfect spot for a couple (or a pair of pairs), and once you have a table, you’re in for a treat. Gorgeous pastries, lattes poured to perfection, and the crispiest tater tots you’ve ever had in your life- No, seriously. Who told y’all to go that hard on the humble tater tot? I want to thank them personally. We love the dirty breakfast tots- avocado, a fried egg, pork belly… YUM! And the fried chicken and egg with savory corn pancakes. Such a fun, happy vibe and truly memorable dishes. One of our favorites in Oside.

Rose Cafe has such a cute and cozy ambiance! Perfect for Moms looking to catch up, and also for our daughters who need a little quality time together. As a coffee & brunch lover, it can be hard to find both in one spot, but Rose Cafe is that perfect place. It’s a small, intimate cafe with impeccable service that makes every visit special. It has yet to disappoint!

I am a big FOODIE! Katie and her team nailed it with atmosphere, service and the flavors! We had the salmon dip, burger, kids chicken and the baked chicken. All I can do is dream about the next time I get to relax at my favorite local breakfast spot turned favorite dinner spot! Can't wait to see what else they are cooking each season!

Loved this hidden gem. The ambiance is so cute and the food was delicious w very quick service. There was a bit of confusion over the pricing- I was told their system automatically adds a tax to every item if you are paying w card. It wasn't clear if that is the card processing fee or something else, but they were able to take off that tax when I asked about it and said I was paying cash.

I loved this cute Restaurant/ Cafe! The food was amazing, we ordered the brie baguette sandwich, steak & eggs, avocado toast, and grilled cheese w/ tomato bisque. Everything was delicious, I live out in LA but I would 100% make the drive to oceanside to eat here again! The food was worth the price.

The space is lovely overall, but I really think a bit of attention to the windows could elevate the entire atmosphere. I'd love to suggest investing in some window treatments to soften the view of the surrounding exterior, which currently takes away from the charm inside. For example, semi-sheer curtains would still allow natural light to flow in beautifully while subtly blurring the view outside—I use them at home and they make such a difference. If possible, consider installing double curtain rods. On the inner rod, you could place the semi-sheer curtains in the center and frame them with velvet drapes on the sides in a calming pink (which I think would complement your aesthetic beautifully). Adding a scrunched-up valance on the outer rod would give the windows a soft, finished look—I’m happy to include a photo of my setup at home for inspiration! Of course, if the budget doesn’t allow for the full setup, just the sheers alone would already make a huge improvement. Just make sure they’re wide enough to drape nicely rather than stretch flat across the glass. I truly think this small change would make such a big impact—I’d honestly come every week if the windows had semi-sheers! As for everything else: the food was fantastic, and the decor (minus the bare windows) is very charming. The drinks could use a little refining—the chai rose latte, for instance, mostly tasted of sugar with no noticeable rose flavor. That said, the host was incredibly kind and quickly adjusted it by adding more milk, no fuss at all—such a lovely and accommodating young lady. The strawberry matcha unfortunately lacked flavor as well; even after my friend requested more strawberry purée, it still didn’t quite come through. All in all, it’s a great place with so much potential. Just a few curtains away from perfection!

I absolutely loved this charming spot! I ordered the Protein Toast with salmon, and it was so delicious and filling. I can't wait to go back and try their Ube Waffles next time! I grew up enjoying real, natural ube—none of that food coloring stuff—so I'm really curious to taste their version.

I was looking for a brunch place to take an out-of-town friend and stumbled on Rose Cafe's website. The menu was SO appealing at first glance, and I'm stoked to report that it mother flipping DELIVERED. The outside of the cafe does it zero justice, but the inside is adorable and modern and on theme, and the food was a delight in every sense. Coffees were gorgeous too. It's worth the bustle to come eat here!!
